Caitlin Clark has been named to the USA Basketball Women’s National Team 14-athlete training camp roster, USA Basketball has announced.

The Iowa superstar will join 13 WNBA stars on the team, which includes names like Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner and Sabrina Ionescu. The group includes nine Olympians and eight gold-medal-winning 2022 USA Women’s World Cup Team members.

The 14-team roster will include the following women’s basketball stars:

The training camp is set for April 3-5 at Cleveland Clinic Courts in Cleveland, which means if Iowa earns its way into the Final Four — which is held on April 5 — Clark will not be in attendance at the training camp.

The group will be coached by current Minnesota Lynx and USA Basketball Women’s National Team head coach Cheryl Reeve will lead the camp. Texas A&M‘s Joni Taylor, Washington Mistics’ Mike Thibault and Duke‘s Kara Lawson will assist her.

Much like Clark, Lawson’s participation will be predicated on how far Duke’s run in the NCAA Tournament lasts. Both teams advanced to the second weekend to participate in the Sweet 16.

For Clark, she had one more year of eligibility remaining to continue adding to her monumental legacy in Iowa City, but instead decided to declare for the WBNA Draft in February. Making this season the final year of her storied four-year career that’s been tabbed as one of the most impactful ever for the women’s game. Now, she’ll join her fellow 13 camp-mates in the pros next season.

Before that, however, Clark’s invitation to the training camp is a good sign that she’ll be helping lead USA Basketball to its eighth consecutive Olympic gold medal this summer in Paris. The 2024 Paris Olympic Games are set for July 26 through Aug. 11.

Clark’s attention for the time being is directed toward taking Iowa back to the Final Four for a second straight season. She’ll continue that journey against Colorado on Saturday, March 30 with a shot at an Elite Eight berth on the line. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET, and can be streamed on Fubo.
