Former NFL quarterback Cam Newton has a message for Travis Kelce regarding his relationship with Taylor Swift. On his 4th and 1 show this week, Newton said that the superstar Kansas City Chiefs tight end “won” for dating the 12-time Grammy Award winner.

“The guys who get identified as certain people’s boyfriend, you won,” Newton said. “You’re sitting back chilling. You ain’t got to do half of the s*** you used to have to do in other relationships.”

Newton then had a warning for Kelce. “Don’t f*** this up,” he said. “Don’t do it because I’m telling you, if you f*** this up, I don’t think you’ll be able to come back from this one.”

Kelce and Swift have spent a lot of time together since the NFL season came to an end in February. Recently, the couple was spotted vacationing in the Bahamas and reportedly stayed at Harbour Island’s Rosalita House.

“They vacationed in the Bahamas for several days,” a source told PEOPLE. “It was a much-needed break for both of them. They very much enjoyed it. They are so happy together.”

Travis Kelce is living the good life

Kelce seems to also be enjoying time away from football after helping the Chiefs win their third Super Bowl in five years in February. As photos of him and Swift in the Bahamas surfaced online, fans noticed him having a “dad bod.”

“We’re in the same weight class now!”Kelce told his brother , Jason Kelce on the New Heights podcast. “It’s March!”

Kelce will have time to get back in shape since ther season doesn’t start until September. The Chiefs will start offseason workouts soon and will take a break during the summer before they return for training camp and preseason. With Kelce entering his 12th NFL season, being physically ready for the season won’t be an issue.

While Kelce has solidified his legacy with three Super Bowl wins and nine pro bowl selections, the question is when will he call it career? While speaking to Bleacher Report last year, Kelce said he’s enjoying his time with the Chiefs too much to think about retirement.

“I absolutely love what I’m doing, I love doing it here in Kansas City,” Kelce said. “I don’t even want to think about putting a time limit on this. My body still feels good, I still feel like I can help the Kansas City Chiefs win. On top of that, every single day is a blast coming into the building.”
