Former LSU star running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire suffered one of the funnier uniform mishaps you’ll see on Sunday evening in the Chiefs-Bills game. The Chiefs running back had his pants rip in the middle of the play and he had to run off the field and get some new pants.

Clyde Edwards Helaire managed to get a new pair of pants so he could keep playing.

The Bills ended up defeating the Chiefs, 20-17. Edwards-Helaire made a play that fired up the crowd at Arrowhead in the fourth quarter, when he hurdled a Bills defender on a screen pass. The former LSU standout had over 50 all-purpose yards in the losing effort on Sunday.

An offsides call on Kadarius Toney wiped out one of the more creative plays we’ve seen in NFL history on Sunday. Travis Kelce caught a pass and immediately decided to throw it backwards across the field to Kadarius Toney, who then took it in for what could have been the game-winning touchdown.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was furious about the call in his post-game press conference. And it’ll undoubtedly been one of the more talked about calls by officials this season. Kansas City dropped to 8-5, but they still sit in 1st place in the AFC West Division. They’ve lost three of their last four games. Next up, they’ll face the New England Patriots. That one will take place on Sunday, Dec. 17th. Kick is set for 1:00 PM EST.

Edwards-Helaire has seen his production dip in the past few years, and he even had his job taken by former Rutgers star, Isiah Pachecho. So, it’ll be interesting to see how long the former LSU standout stays with the Chiefs. Edwards-Helaire without a doubt had his best season with Kansas City as a rookie, racking up over 1,000 all-purpose yards and five total touchdowns. But his production since then hasn’t come close.

Entering Sunday’s game, the former LSU standout had just 51 carries for 179 yards and a touchdown.

He was a critical piece of the LSU Tigers’ run to the 2020 National Championship. On that team, he had by far his best season in college, 215 attempts for 1,414 yards and 16 touchdowns. It was one of the greatest offenses in college football history and was loaded with weapons: Joe Burrow at quarterback and Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase at receiver. The four players teamed up to form one of the greatest offenses in college football history.
