Chuck Liddell falls off boat into San Diego Bay
Chuck Liddell fell off a boat into the San Diego Bay and it looks like he was okay. The former UFC light heavyweight champion simply lost his balance and went into the water.
Knowing that he’s okay, it might be okay to laugh at this clip. If it were your buddy, wouldn’t you laugh at that same individual?

At least the boat wasn’t going anywhere and Liddell was able to swim to the rear. He’s just a little wet is all!
This boat incident aside, Liddell is one of the greatest mixed martial artists in the history of the UFC. The former champion, now 54, was a pioneer of the sport as well, helping put the UFC into the mainstream.
He finished his MMA career 21-9 but was once 20-3 when he successfully defended his belt for the fourth time against rival Tito Ortiz. Liddell went 1-6 in his final seven fights but earned fight of the year on December 29, 2007 with a win over Wanderlei Silva, a newly inducted Hall of Famer.
Liddell retired back in 2010 but reemerged in 2018 with a third fight with Ortiz, which he lost via knockout. Still, his legacy remained, falling off boats or not.
Frankie Edgar welcomed back to Rutgers amid UFC Hall of Fame induction
Speaking of UFC Hall of Famers, Frankie Edgar was also inducted into the newest class. He returned to Rutgers University, where he used to be an assistant coach on the wrestling team.
“Yeah this is great,” Edgar said. “I feel like I had a big part of this in the beginning with Scott Goodale so to see what he has grown and done with this program is amazing. The place is always packed, you know, one of the biggest attendance (averages) in all of college wrestling, so it’s awesome to be here.”
The program was on the brink of being cut until Goodale took over. He built it into a regular Big Ten power over the last 17 years and Edgar was in on the ground floor.“Yeah, you know, I love it, man,” Edgar said. “You know, Jersey, definitely a wrestling state where guys are staying here, getting guys from out of state, you know, building this program. You know, we’re a top 10 team. I mean, that was the goal of Goodale from the first day he came in walking into this program so it’s good to see it all happen.”
