Contract details revealed for Glen Logan, Cleveland Browns following 2022 NFL Draft
Former LSU Tigers defensive tackle Glen Logan was not selected in the 2022 NFL Draft, but he still found himself with a contract as an undrafted free agent. Not long after the draft came to a close, it was reported that Logan was signing a free agent contract with the Cleveland Browns. Now, additional details have been revealed on his deal.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported the terms of Logan’s contract with the Browns on Saturday night.
“Former LSU DT Glen Logan is signing with the #Browns on a deal that includes $60,000 guaranteed, per source,” Pelissero tweeted.
Logan isn’t the only interior defensive lineman that the Browns added on draft weekend, though. Cleveland also selected former Oklahoma defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey with the No. 108 overall pick. The Browns added defensive lineman Isaiah Thomas from Oklahoma later on, taking him with the No. 223 overall pick.
With the additions of Logan, Winfrey, and Thomas, the Browns were undoubtedly trying to add some depth on the defensive line on draft weekend.
Logan comes to the Browns after six years at LSU
Logan was originally part of LSU’s 2016 recruiting class, and he then spent six seasons in Baton Rouge before heading to the NFL. He was originally a four-star recruit and a national top 100 player, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average. Logan was rated as the 13th-best defensive lineman in the 2016 class and the sixth-best player out of the state of Louisiana.
In his first year of action in 2017, Logan played in seven games with 17 tackles. The best statistical season of his collegiate career came in 2018, where he played in 12 games with 45 tackles, five tackles for loss, four sacks, and one pass defended. Logan missed six games this past season with a foot injury, and he had 10 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and one sack in six games.
Overall, Logan finished his collegiate career with 109 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and three passes defended.
