Cowboys RB Rico Dowdle questionable, CeeDee Lamb good to go for Thanksgiving game
Good news for Cowboys fans. Star receiver CeeDee Lamb was a full participant in practice Wednesday and dropped off of Thursday’s injury list. But running back Rico Dowdle was questionable.
In the meantime, safety Jayron Kearse is doubtful for the Thanksgiving game against the Commanders at AT&T Stadium. He’s got a back injury. Kearse did not practice Monday and Tuesday, but was able to do some drills on Wednesday.
The Cowboys listed seven players with injuries this week, which was a short one considering Dallas is playing its traditional Thanksgiving game. It’s the middle of an NFL triple header. The Lions play host to the Packers in the early game. The 49ers-Seahawks are the night cap.
Dowdle is Dallas’ second-leading rusher with 55 carries for 235 yards. Lamb, however, is one of the best receivers in the NFL. He surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in Sunday’s 33-10 win over the Panthers. He caught six passes for 38 yards and a touchdown. And that broke a string of three straight games with at least 150 yards in receptions.
