Ahead of their matchup in San Francisco on Sunday night, the Cowboys and 49ers have released their injury reports from Thursday’s practice.

Left tackle Jason Peters suffered a hip injury in Monday night’s win that the team believes will keep him out of Sunday night’s divisional round game. He did not participate in practice on Thursday, instead, he worked with the trainers.

Safety Jayron Kearse was a limited participant again on Thursday, but he assured reporters on Wednesday that he would “100%” play versus San Francisco. Meanwhile, defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence was also limited with a foot injury. Lawrence’s foot injury has nagged him for several weeks but not kept him out of games.

The Cowboys and 49ers kick off at 6:15 p.m. ET on Sunday in San Francisco. Dallas is trying to kill the 49ers’ 10-game winning streak and send them packing like San Fran did to them in last year’s first-round playoff game.

Here’s who was in and out for both teams at practice on Thursday.

Cowboys injury report

Did not practice – LT Jason Peters (hip)

Limited – S Jayron Kearse (knee), DE DeMarcus Lawrence (foot)

Full – DT Quinton Bohanna (knee), OT Tyron Smith (knee), CB Trayvon Mullen (illness), S Israel Mukuamu (hamstring)

49ers injury report

Did not practice – QB Jimmy Garoppolo (foot), CB Ambry Thomas (ankle), OT Trent Williams (rest)

Limited – DE Samson Ebukam (ankle), WR Jauan Jennings (ankle), DT Javon Kinlaw (knee)

Cowboys make additional roster moves on Thursday

After signing kicker Tristan Vizcaino to the practice squad on Wednesday, the Dallas Cowboys made several more roster moves on Thursday heading into the divisional round matchup this weekend.

The team designated two injured players for return, activating the 21-day practice windows for wideout Simi Fehoko and linebacker Devin Harper.

After suffering a shoulder injury, Fehoko went on injured reserve in mid-October. The 2021 draft pick out of Stanford has three catches for 24 yards on the year.

Devin Harper, a rookie out of Oklahoma State, hit the injured reserve just a week after Fehoko did in October. He has been rehabbing an Achilles injury.

Dallas also made an additional practice squad signing, adding former Browns defensive back Sheldrick Redwine. To make room for the 2019 draft pick, they placed cornerback Mackensie Alexander on the practice squad/injured reserve.

The former Miami standout has played in 33 games over the last four seasons. He played for the Browns, the Jets and the Dolphins, totaling 77 tackles and one interception.
