The Dallas Cowboys appear to be getting healthier heading into this week’s game against the Houston Texans. Only one Cowboys player didn’t participate in Thursday’s practice, according to the latest injury report.

Cornerback Anthony Brown missed his second straight practice as he deals with an Achilles injury that, ultimately, will keep him out for the season. But three players who sat out Wednesday — defensive lineman Johnathan Hankins, cornerback Kelvin Joseph and defensive end Sam Williams — were back to full participation on Thursday, which are good signs as the week goes on.

Defensive lineman Quinton Bohanna, safety Jayron Kearse and defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence were all limited for the second consecutive day.

The Cowboys are coming off a resounding 54-19 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football behind a strong performance from the defense. Dallas forced five turnovers, including three Colts interceptions, to come away with the blowout win.

Now, the Cowboys are getting ready to take on the Houston Texans Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. Here’s Dallas’ full injury report for Thursday.

Cowboys Thursday injury report vs Texans

Did not participate — CB Anthony Brown (Achilles)

Brown tore his Achilles in the third quarter of Sunday’s win over the Colts and will miss the rest of the season as a result. It’s a big loss for the Dallas defense as Brown had 42 tackles to his name before the injury.

Limited participants — DT Quinton Bohanna (knee), S Jayron Kearse (shoulder), DE DeMarcus Lawrence (foot)

All three players missed their second straight practices due to injury, meaning all eyes will be on Friday’s practice to determine their statuses for Sunday. Bohanna was inactive Sunday night against Indianapolis.

Full participants — DT Johnathan Hankins (non-injury/personal), CB Kelvin Joseph (illness), DE Sam Williams (illness)

Hankins, Joseph and Williams all returned to practice Thursday after missing Wednesday, which bodes well for their availabilities for Sunday’s game.
