While there are a few jersey combinations the Dallas Cowboys go with, rarely does the helmet see any changes made. It’s already happened once this season, wearing a throwback uniform on Thanksgiving against the New York Giants. Another variation will be coming on Thursday night.

Usually going with a gray helmet and the famous star, Dallas will be rocking a white helmet against the Tennessee Titans. With the game being played on the road, it’s a fun mixup for the Cowboys as they head to Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

A white facemask will be included as well, a new wrinkle to it all.

You can check out the helmet here.

Dallas announced they would be wearing the white helmets before the season began, advertising them as an “artic” look. It’s part of a color rush uniform they will be wearing as well, while the Titans are expected to wear their traditional home blue uniforms.

Thankfully for the fans, the white helmets are nothing new. A similar white style was worn on the previously mentioned Thanksgiving uniforms but was more of a retro look. This still has the traditional star logo on the side.

A clash of modern times while still getting a retro look, you would say.

The Dallas Cowboys are in need of a big win and now have the chance of looking good while attempting to do so. Mathematically, the NFC East title is still on the line, as Dallas can go back-to-back if they win out and Philadelphia loses out.

Tennessee is first up on the schedule, while the regular season will conclude with the Washington Commanders. If Dallas cannot win the division and takes the first wild card spot, whoever wins the NFC South — where all but the Atlanta Falcons are alive — will be first up in the playoffs.
