NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah always has a very close eye on the talent in the National Football League. He watches film extensively on every prospect. Two rookies who have impressed him early are: Denver running back Javonte Williams and New York Jet wide receiver Elijah Moore.

Let’s take a look at his clip below on NFL Network:

DENVER BRONCOS RB JAVONTE WILLIAMS

Daniel Jeremiah was raving about Broncos rookie running back Javonte Williams. In the NFL Network clip above he was talking about Williams and how good he is in pass protection.

In his junior season, Williams ran for 1,140 total rushing yards, ranking him sixth in the country in that stat. He also pounded and pummeled his way to 19 rushing touchdowns, ranking him third in the nation in that category.

Jeremiah noted how the North Carolina native can “run with power between the tackles,” and the film backs that up.

He was the most impressed by Williams in pass protection. Jeremiah noted, “You watch Virginia Tech last year and you could see him fold up one of their linebackers like a blanket.”

According to Pro Football Focus, for running backs with at least 140 attempts on the ground in 2020, Williams finished with the fifth most yards after contact (4.59).

The crazy part about Javonte Williams’ journey to the NFL is that he was a linebacker coming out of prep school. He wasn’t even switched to running back until his freshman year at UNC.

NEW YORK JETS WR ELIJAH MOORE

One of the breakout stars early in the 2021 fall camp session is wide receiver Elijah Moore of the New York Jets. The former Ole Miss standout has been drawing lots of buzz and rave reviews early in camp.

Jeremiah thinks he’s a player you should be getting on your fantasy roster in 2021 due to the excellent chemistry between Zach Wilson and Elijah Moore. “He’s (Zach Wilson) got a chemistry with Elijah Moore,” Jeremiah said.

Moore hauled in 1,193 receiving yards in 2020, ranking him second in the nation in that category. There’s a good reason he was drafted by the Jets, he was one of the best receivers in college football.

If Daniel Jeremiah is right, Elijah Moore and Javonte Williams will be crucial for your fantasy football rosters in the 2021 season. Stock up and stock up now!
