Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith “robbed” the Cowboys’ Salvation Army kettle after a late touchdown during a hilarious touchdown celebration. Smith took his chance to rub salt in the wound by using the Cowboys’ favorite touchdown prop against them after scoring a go-ahead touchdown.

Smith ran directly over to the kettle and mimed out a robbery — donning a ski mask, kicking down the door and robbing the kettle of the imaginary Christmas presents.

Smith’s celebration shined a light on how competitive their Christmas Eve showdown was, both for the NFC East as rivals and as two of the top team’s in the NFL this season. Over this season, the Salvation Army kettle has become a popular touchdown prop for Dallas and worked as a symbol of their success over the season in many ways — making the Eagles’ fun “robbery” a great stinger to the fans.

Despite the moment being a high point for Philadelphia late, Dallas rallied with a pair of turnovers forced from the Eagles offense that gave them a six point lead with under two minutes to play in the game. Ultimately, the Cowboys foiled Smith’s Grinch impersonation by taking the 40-34 win over their rivals and keeping their chances at the division title alive this year.
