Louis Riddick believes Kyle Hamilton has a chance to be generational. On Sunday, Riddick joined Sportscenter to compare Hamilton to an NFL legend, and stated that the former Notre Dame star will be a premier selection in the 2022 NFL Draft.

“Kyle Hamilton from Notre Dame is really the guy that I think everyone is going to be watching,” stated Riddick on Sportscenter. “Simply because he’s such a unique individual at safety at 6’4″ and 220 pounds. He reminds me of a guy who I scouted personally back in 2004 in Sean Taylor, from a body-type perspective.”

“We’ll see what he runs today in the 40. We know that he’s going to look good in the ball drills. As far as his range and his finishing skills. Being able to take the ball out of the air. And one of the things that you won’t be able to see is the things that you’re seeing on your screen right now. The fact that he has 33-inch arms, and tremendous tackling range. But he’s the kind of guy that you can leave the combine going this kid right here is a do-it-all, everything type of safety that you need in today’s game.”

As you can see, Riddick dished out high-praise for the former Notre Dame star. Now, Hamilton could make the ESPN NFL analyst look like a genius with a fantastic performance on Sunday at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Louis Riddick on Kyle Hamilton: ‘His skills are going to be in high, high demand’

Furthermore, Louis Riddick detailed what makes Kyle Hamilton a special prospect for the 2022 NFL Draft.

“Strong against the run. He can blitz. Sure tackler. And a guy who can pick the ball off in the deep end of the field and give it back to your offense,” stated Riddick. “Which we know every defense wants, and quite frankly every offense wants. Cause it gives them more shots to score. So, his skills are going to be in high, high demand. Regardless of what happens today.

“But he could be in contention to be a top-three pick, once we roll around to the draft and get out there to Vegas.”

Usually, safeties aren’t selected with premium, top-five selections in the NFL Draft. However, Louis Riddick recognizes Kyle Hamilton isn’t your ordinary safety. The football world will have their eyes on the former Notre Dame star on Sunday.
