Terrion Arnold appeared on SportsCenter Saturday morning and made his pitch to NFL teams in need of a cornerback.

The former Alabama star is expected to be drafted in the first round of next week’s NFL draft, and he believes he is the best defensive player on the board.

The All-American shared what kind of player the NFL team that drafts him will be getting.

“I tell them you’re getting a quarterback in a cornerback,” Terrion Arnold said on SportsCenter. “I’m the type of guy who’s going to come in, work hard, and I’m a competitor. I’m going to make the team better.”

Arnold finished last season with five interceptions and 17 passes defended, tying for the SEC lead in both categories. In addition to getting an excellent player, he said NFL teams will also be getting someone who’s a really good teammate.

“I understand comradery. I understand the importance of bringing everybody together – knowing the cafeteria lady, knowing the janitors,” Arnold said.

Terrion Arnold signed with Alabama as a four-star recruit and the No. 35 overall player in the country in the class of 2021, according to the On3 Industry rankings.

He saw his first action in 2022, earning Freshman All-American honors, before performing at an All-American level this past season.

Now he expects to go to the NFL and continue to make plays.

“You’re going to get an impact player. My biggest attribute that I have is I’m a playmaker,” Terrion Arnold said. “As far as being a cornerback, I know how to get the ball out. I’m an exciting player to watch. I like to call myself the fan favorite. One of those people when you’re going to the game, you’re going to say, ‘I don’t know what’s going to happen today, but Terrion’s going to do something special.”

Terrion Arnold admits he will have ‘LANK’ inside draft day suit

Terrion Arnold recently made a big announcement when it comes to his suit for the 2024 NFL Draft. While appearing on The Paul Finebaum Show, the former Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback was asked if he will wear the “LANK” shirt at the draft or if he will wear an actual suit.

“I do have it inside my suit, though. You’ll see it. I do,” Arnold said.

As for the suit, Arnold teased what fans can expect from him when he arrives in Detroit next Thursday night.

“My suit is salmon,” Arnold revealed. “That sounds very Nick Saban A-Day scrimmage like doesn’t it? I’m looking forward to next Thursday night. I think it’s seeing what you look like because in all the years of following the draft, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a salmon suit. There you go man. And also, Paul, you never met anybody like me. So there you go.”
