New York Jets wide receiver Mecole Hardman has only been with the team for a few months but he is already all-in. This week, the fifth-year wideout posted a new chain that he had made that features not just one, but three blinged-out jets.

Shared on his Instagram, Hardman’s new chain has one very large jet hanging from the center and two smaller jets coming off of the sides. Not only does the large jet’s pilot’s seat open, it also has a mini Mecole character sitting inside.

The new accessory will certainly come in handy for the receiver on gamedays this season. He signed a one-year deal after spending his first four with the Super Bowl-winning Chiefs.

Hardman just wrapped up his fourth and final season with the Kansas City Chiefs. Although it ended in a Super Bowl win for the team, his own production did dip a bit. He finished with 297 receiving yards and four touchdowns one year after totaling a career-high 693 yards and six touchdowns.

Although he was a factor in getting the Chiefs to the Super Bowl, he wasn’t able to play in the big game. He suffered a pelvic injury that sent him to the Injured Reserve in November. The groin tear required offseason surgery.

Hardman heads into Year 1 with Jets

Although he had to miss making an appearance in the Super Bowl, it wasn’t all bad news for Hardman to end the 2022 season. He posted on the morning of the game that he was welcoming his first child into the world.

“Welcoming our healthy baby boy together in this world while watching the Chiefs win the Super Bowl!!” Hardman shared. “Could not be any Happier! A father and now a 2x Super Bowl Champ! Thanks to everyone for the prayers and support.”

Kansas City drafted Hardman out of Georgia in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He totaled 2,088 yards and 16 touchdowns during his time with the Chiefs.

The Jets are hoping to unlock more of Hardman’s potential in New York this season.

“I think he’s an underrated route runner,” coach Robert Saleh said of Hardman. “It’s something that we’re going to try to help him get a lot better at. I think he still has a lot of juice and a heck of a higher ceiling to reach as we develop the intermediate route-running skills of his.”
