Former Denver Broncos cornerback Brendan Langley got into a violent altercation with an airline worker, caught on camera at the airport. The video appears to show an airline worker strike Langley, prompting Langley to swing back and hit the employee multiple times. After a brief separation, the airline worker strikes Langley again — before the former NFL player hits him again and knocks him to the ground over a counter.

Warning: The following video contains footage of physical violence.

It is unclear who or what instigated the fight between the two, however initial reports from TMZ state that Langley claims he did not throw the first punch. The video shared online does not show the lead-up to the physical blows, but begins with the airline employee appearing to strike Langley first.

After being knocked over the check-in counter, the employee gets off the ground and attempts to confront Langley again — as Langley exclaims “He wants more!” From there, the incident appeared to end with both parties walking away.

Langley is a former third-round pick by the Denver Broncos from the 2017 NFL Draft who played two seasons in the NFL. He began his college career with the Georgia Bulldogs before transferring to Lamar to play his final two seasons before making the jump to the NFL.

Langley commented on the incident later, adding that he felt like the employees did nothing to help the situation and that he felt like he was a target.

“[You] can clearly see soooo many United employees watching everything unfold while I’m basically begging for help. Craziest part not one of them helped de-escalate the situation! It was like they wanted it to happen. Like I had a target on my back,” said Langley via his Twitter account.

United Airlines later released a statement on the incident, in addition to revealing that they had fired the employee involved in the fight.

“United Airlines does not tolerate violence of any kind at our airports or on board our planes and we are working with local authorities in their investigation of this matter,” their statement read.
