The Green Bay Packers have masterfully overcome injuries and constant COVID issues throughout the season.

With a talented Los Angeles Rams team up next for a game with plenty of NFC implications on the line, the Packers released their final injury report ahead of Sunday.

The Packers have listed running back Aaron Jones (knee), linebacker Rashan Gary (elbow) and receiver Allen Lazard (shoulder) as questionable for Sunday’s game.

Additionally, the team has ruled out tackle David Bakhtiari (knee) and receiver Malik Taylor (abdomen), while cornerback Kevin King (hip/knee) is doubtful after not practicing this week.

Clearly there are a several key questionable players, most notably Jones in the backfield, creating anxiety for Green Bay Packers fans until the team takes the field.

Aaron Rodgers (toe) didn’t practice this week but is expected to start Sunday against Los Angeles, according to the official report. He relayed calls to backup quarterback Jordan Love during Friday’s practice, according to Head Coach Matt LaFleur.

“It’s just making sure the communication is on point in terms of making sure he’s comfortable with everything we put in the plan and how we’re going to attack LA’s defense,” said LaFleur of Rodgers’ preparation without practice reps.

Green Bay Packers QB may be limited vs. Rams

The health of Aaron Rodgers has once again become a major storyline, though very few casual football followers or Packers’ fans were aware of the star quarterback’s ailment ahead of last week’s win over the Vikings.

Earlier this week, the reigning NFL MVP joined the Pat McAfee show to give a first-hand account of his toe injury in graphic detail.

On Monday, NFL Network’s Ian Rappaport expanded on the brutal pain Aaron Rodgers is battling, and will be fighting through in the coming weeks.

“Rodgers was not lying, that toe sounds like it is really significant and he was pretty severely limited early in the week, and usually when you see a player have no game status for Sunday, you’re like ‘alright, good to go,” Rappaport said of the Green Bay Packers star.

The NFL insider then provided keen details into the Packers’ quarterback’s routine leading into the Vikings matchup.

“That wasn’t really the case here. I mean he did play, but he only took 15 reps on Friday, was limping around and was significantly limited with a painful toe injury. Rodgers was talking about just getting to the bye, and while the bye is coming, it’s not next week. It’s week 13.”

The Green Bay Packers have prevailed time and time again this year when they were doubted, but with so many players up in the air for Sunday, it will be another brutal test.
