Ahead of their Thursday Night Football matchup, the Green Bay Packers and the Arizona Cardinals have made their final injury reports available. Both teams are dealing with multiple injuries and other absences ahead of the impactful NFC showdown. Shortly after reports surfaced about Cardinals defensive end J.J. Watt’s possible season-ending surgery, Packers wide receiver Davante Adams was ruled out by the league’s health and safety protocol.

Packers and Cardinals final injury list

Inactive players – Packers: LB Jaylon Smith, CB Kevin King, S Vernon Scott, LB La’Darius Hamilton, OT Dennis Kelly, DL Jack Heflin

The Green Bay Packers released their final injury report ahead of their Thursday night game against the Arizona Cardinals. Among the notable inactives is starting cornerback Kevin King. Fellow defensive contributors Vernon Scott, La’Darius Hamilton and Jack Heflin also ruled out for the game. Jaylon Smith remains inactive after joining the Packers midseason from the Dallas Cowboys, while versatile offensive lineman Dennis Kelly has been downgraded from doubtful to out.

Wide receivers Davante Adams and Allen Lazard will also miss Thursday while in COVID-19 safety protocols. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who was not activated from injury reserve in time for this week’s game, is also ruled out. The Packers will play without defensive coordinator Joe Barry, who tested positive for COVID-19 and triggered heightened precautions within the Green Bay facility.

Star outside linebacker Preston Smith returns to the lineup for Green Bay. He continues recovery from his oblique injury which limited him at practice. Defensive starters Kenny Clark and Sean Lowry are also active after limited participation at this week’s practice.

Inactive players – Cardinals: QB Chris Streveler, RB Eno Benjamin, WR Andy Isabella, OG Max Garcia, DL Rashard Lawrence, DE J.J. Watt

As expected, Cardinals star J.J. Watt is out for Thursday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers with injury. Earlier reports suggest he could undergo season-ending surgery. Defensive contributor Rashard Lawrence joins several reserve players and backup quarterback Chris Streveler on the inactive list for Thursday.
