It’s that time of year in college basketball yet again as several conference tournaments got underway this week. That includes the ACC Tournament, which will feature a matchup between No. 11 seed Boston College and No. 6 seed Clemson on Wednesday evening.

The Eagles are coming off of an 81-65 victory against Miami in the opening round on Tuesday. Quentin Post had massive game for them to record a double-double with 30 points and 13 rebounds. Boston College will likely need another big game from their 7-footer if they are to pull off the upset here.

Clemson received a first round bye after finishing 11-9 in conference play and appear to be safely in the NCAA Tournament with Joe Lunardi projecting them as a No. 6 seed. The Tigers are led by PJ Hall, who is averaging 18.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.

Odds for Boston College vs. Clemson

Clemson is a 6.5-point favorite over Boston College entering the game, according to FanDuel. Additionally, the Tigers have a -300 moneyline while the Eagles are sitting at +240.

The point total for the game is set at 145.5. Clemson previously defeated Boston College by a score of 89-78 in the regular season, which would have covered the over here.

ESPN’s BPI is a model designed to provide a statistical comparison between two teams and predict future success. It agrees with Vegas that Clemson should win and predicts the Tigers should cover the line of 6.5. Boston College stands less than a 25% chance to take down Clemson.

It likely won’t be the closest game of the day with a matchup quality of just 76.9, which ranks 10th among all games on Wednesday.

KenPom predicted final score: Clemson 77, Boston College 71
KenPom win probability (for Clemson): 71%

Created by Ken Pomeroy, the KenPom is another predictive formula that is highly regarded among college basketball fans. No surprise here as KenPom likes Clemson to win by six points, falling in line with the predictions from Vegas and the BPI.
