Odds for West Virginia vs. Iowa

Iowa is a 16.5-point favorite against West Virginia on Monday, according to FanDuel. The over-under is set at 163.5.

West Virginia trailed Princeton after the first half in the Round of 64, but a strong second half helped flip the script. The Mountaineers eventually went on to win the game 73-63 with J.J. Quinerly’s 29 points helping lead the charge. WVU’s offense looked strong, as well, with a 52.5% showing from the field as a group – led by a 10-for-19 effort from Quinerly.

Holy Cross didn’t make things easy for Iowa in the first quarter on Saturday. The Hawkeyes took a 25-23 lead into the huddle, and Lisa Bluder admitted there might have been a bit of rust following the long layoff. They flipped the script right away, outscoring the Crusaders 25-9 in the second quarter and eventually coming away with the 91-65 victory. Clark shook off the rough start as she finished with 25 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists to lead the charge.

Iowa will look to continue defending its home court, bringing a 14-1 mark at Carver heading into the matchup with West Virginia. The winner of the game will then advance to the Sweet Sixteen, which will take place in Albany for its second regional.
