Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence had the perfect Christmas gift for his offensive linemen this year after an unfortunate incident in Week 13 led to a partnership with an unlikely brand. Lawrence teamed up with E-Z-Go Vehicles to gift brand-new golf carts to each of his offensive linemen.

Following an ankle injury against the Bengals, the former Clemson star refused to wait for a cart to take him to the locker room at EverBank Stadium. Luckily for the QB, his injury wasn’t severe enough to keep him out of the next week’s game. Unfortunately, it was another loss to the Browns.

Although he’s played along with the bit, Lawrence wanted fans to know that he didn’t blame the Jaguars for not getting a cart out to him fast enough.

“We talked about getting a cart, and I was going to get a cart,” Lawrence told reporters earlier this month. “Then I’m standing there, and I’m already on the sideline at that point. The tunnel’s right there. I just wanted to get off the field and get out of there. I didn’t know what was going on with my ankle. (And) I felt like I could get off. I was like, ‘Hey, you’re good. Just don’t bring it out. I’m going in.’”

“We have everything we need, and I was the one that didn’t choose to take (the cart), so you guys put that on me,” he added. “Maybe that was dumb. Maybe I should have taken one, but it’s nothing to do with us not having a cart available. I don’t think that would happen in the National Football League, especially here with the crew that we have.”

Lawrence enters concussion protocol in Week 15

Against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday of Week 15, Trevor Lawrence took a hit that sent him into concussion protocol before the end of the game. The Jaguars, coming off of losses to the Bengals and Browns, fell to the Ravens 23-7.

The lone score of the game for the Jaguars, a 65-yard bomb from Lawrence to Jamal Agnew, was the QB’s longest touchdown pass of his career in Jacksonville. Unfortunately, due to the potential concussion, his status is now up in the air for Week 16. The Jaguars take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Christmas Eve. Now 8-6 on the season, they need a win to avoid falling behind the Colts and/or the Texans in the AFC South standings.

Lawrence was 25-for-43 for 264 yards and a touchdown against the Ravens. However, he also lost two fumbles that the Ravens turned into 10 points and failed to punch the ball into the endzone to end the first half, costing the team major momentum in the second half.
