There are few more beloved athletes out there from the Arkansas Razorbacks than current professional golfer and living legend, John Daly. So, it shouldn’t be a surprise that he had to show love to the Razorbacks with the pants he was wearing at the PGA Championship at Southern Hills this weekend. Check out the epic pants he rocked on Friday.

On early Thursday morning, Daly took the golfing world by storm by taking the early lead at Southern Hills in the first round. He carded a 2-under early in Round 1, but eventually fell back a few shots to finish at 2-over par in his first round.

The two-time major champion has been fighting what he has described as benign bladder cancer.

His on-course diet yesterday was something the stuff of legends and was tracked by CBS Sports’ Will Brinson. You wouldn’t believe it was possible, but on Thursday, Daly ripped through 21 cigarettes, drank 12 Diet Cokes, and six packs of peanut M&Ms during his first round. Keep in mind, Daly drank absolutely no water for the entire round. Simply put, the man is not human.

Then, once he was finished on the course, he took a trip to Hooters. After Hooters, he spent some time in the casino.

While Daly’s diet may seem like something extraordinary for the former Razorback star, it’s merely par for the course. In a 2016 interview, Daly told Graham Bensinger that he hated drinking water and that he loves the taste of coke better, especially from McDonald’s. “I used to drink anywhere from 12 to 20 diet cokes a day,” Daly told Bensinger. “I used to go to McDonald’s three to four times a day. To me, they always had the best fountain diet coke.” He also noted how much he hates drinking water in the interview. “You know I don’t drink water. I hate water. I cannot stand drinking water.’

The PGA has allowed Daly to ride in a cart the past two days for his osteoarthritis, per the American with Disabilities Act. In Round 2, he fired 76 to finish 8-over for the first two days and while he’ll miss the cut this weekend at Southern Hills, he remains a legend in the hearts of many people nationwide.

His improbable victory during the 1991 PGA Championship is to this day, one of the all-time greatest underdog stories in the history of sports. After the big win, Daly won $230,000 and quickly donated $30,000 of it to charity.
