The NASCAR Tyson 250 is getting a little chippy as the final laps of the race are approaching. Josh Williams had to send Tanner Gray a message. North Wilkesboro is packed with fans for this race and the product on the track has been nothing short of great. We’re even getting some on-track drama.

Connor Jones, Kris Wright, and Josh Williams went four-wide. Then, Tanner Gray decided that he could make it four-wide at the 5/8th-mile track. He was wrong. That move was one too many and he ended up making contact with Williams in the 22.

After that contact, Williams went spinning around and almost had catastrophic contact with the safety barrels on pit road. It appears the barrels were filled with sand and thankfully, Williams just barely put the front of his truck on it. Seventh caution in the Tyson 250.

These Truck Series drivers are learning with every lap on this track. The Tyson 250 has been entertaining, it looks amazing with all of those fans in the seats and overall, it has delivered. Josh Williams had to give Tanner Gray a warning shot after that wreck, and I’m sure everyone is on the same page now.

While the racing today has been amazing, just think about Cup Series action coming up on Sunday. The revival is real, y’all.

Tyson 250 gives fans what they want

This Tyson 250 has shown that there might be something missing from the Craftsman Truck Series. More short tracks. Yes, the crowd is likely pumped up because of the return of NASCAR. But what other race this year outside of the Cup Series has had a crowd quite like this?

Kyle Larson has put on a show in a very dominant performance. Leading more than 80 laps as the Tyson 250 heads into the final stage. While Corey Heim and Carson Hocevar have put up a great fight, the 2021 Cup Series champion is just on another level.

Other Cup Series talent in this race, including William Byron, Christopher Bell, Ross Chastain, and Bubba Wallace All of those drivers raced in the top 10 at some point during the race. Each of them are hoping to gain an advantage over their competitors for the All-Star Race on Sunday.

What more could we ask for out of this Tyson 250? Well, how about an exciting finish to cap it all off?
