WATCH: Justin Houston shares interception ball with son during record-setting night
The Baltimore Ravens had linebacker Justin Houston set a team record on Monday night, as well as record an interception to help seal the win. The former Georgia star ended his night with 2.5 sacks and an interception — becoming the first Ravens player in team history to record multiple sacks in three-straight games.

Not only did Houston show out on the field, his son was sitting front-row for the game and got to share a special moment with his dad after the interception. The broadcast managed to catch Houston coming up to his son in the stands — as Troy Aikman guessed that it was a fan with his jersey on — and handed the ball to his son while showing off a special handshake.
The moment wasn’t the first time Houston’s son was caught on camera celebrating his dad’s achievement, with a famous video of him cheering on his dad while much younger after he set the single-season Chiefs sack record. Houston recorded four sacks on the day and finished with 22 sacks on the season in 2014, and his son continues to get to watch his dad destroy offenses nearly a decade later.
Houston crossed the 100-sack milestone last season with the Ravens and spoke about the moment — highlighting how special his relationship with his son is.
“He had been on my head about getting to the 100-sack club,” Houston said about his son. “He was happy. But I’ve still got more work to do, so he’s not too happy. He’s going to work the crap out of me. We’ve still got more goals to reach.”
Houston added last year that he has a new target that his son is pushing him to achieve — 130 career sacks. According to Houston’s son, his dad can’t retire until he’s reached 130.
“He said you can’t retire until you get to 130. So I’m praying that somehow, God will make that happen,” joked Houston.
