The final game of the NFL season is upon us, and the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will square off at 6:30 p.m. ET for all the marbles in Super Bowl LVIII. Ahead of the big game, the final list of inactive for Sunday has been released, which is particularly prominent for the Chiefs as they suffered numerous injuries in their AFC Championship game versus the Cincinnati Bengals.

Chiefs starting cornerback L’Jarius Sneed was listed as questionable after making it through concussion protocol due to a knee injury that made him a limited practice participant during the week, but has been cleared and will be active for tonight.

Kansas City wide receiver Kadarius Toney has also been activated after dealing with been dealing with ankle and hamstring issues, with running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire being inactive despite being healthy, as he’s missed the entire postseason for the Chiefs.

Check out the full list of inactives from both squads before kickoff.

Chiefs activate Snead and Toney

The Kansas City Chiefs made a multitude of important roster moves ahead of Super Bowl LVIII. Wide receivers like Kadarius Toney and Mecole Hardman left their AFC Championship game versus the Cincinnati Bengals with injuries, and with quarterback Patrick Mahomes already battling an ankle injury, it looked like bad news for the Chiefs offense regarding health.

Hardman was placed back on the injured reserve on the Monday following the Bengals game after spending most of the season on the IR and only playing in eight games for Kansas City during the regular season. Toney on the other hand was activated for the Chiefs ahead of the Super Bowl after suffering an ankle injury in the conference championship game, and will be a huge addition to the Chiefs offensive after joining the team in November via a trade with the New York Giants.

Sneed suffered a concussion versus the Bengals, but after clearing protocol was limited in practice due to a knee injury. Sneed being activated for the Chiefs in the Super Bowl is critical for their defense, as he served as their best cornerback all season leading the team in pass breakups and interceptions.
