Kayla Nicole spotted with 49ers wives and girlfriends in Las Vegas
Kayla Nicole, also known as Travis Kelce‘s ex-girlfriend, is in Las Vegas this week for the Super Bowl festivities. Although she still has ties to the Chiefs, it appears she’ll be cheering on the 49ers.
How do we know this secret bit of intel? Social media. Kayla Nicole was with a group of wives and girlfriends of 49ers players Friday night. And it didn’t take long for word to spread.
TMZ reported that she was taking shots with Claire Kittle, wife of San Francisco’s superstar tight end George Kittle. The serendipity is too much with this, considering that George Kittle and Travis Kelce are the league’s two best players at that position. Kayla and Claire are friends. The two were in Colorado together last month.
Meanwhile, Kristin Juszczyk, wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, also was at the same event as Kayla Nicole. Earlier in the week, she bumped into Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Patrick. She used to be close couple’s friends with Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany. But after the breakup, Kayla Nicole very publicly unfollowed both of them on social media.
The two began dating in 2017. We’re not sure how they met, although Kayla Nicole hinted that the two first found each other on Instagram.
“He had been following me and insta-flirting for a few months,” Kelce’s ex said in an Instagram story. It’s since in been deleted, according TMZ. They broke up in 2000, then reconciled. The two split again in 2022.
People magazine reported that fans noticed that Kayla Nicole stopped following Brittany Mahomes sometime during the 2023 season. Folks wondered if they weren’t friends anymore. In an interview with People, Nicole explained that she’d spoken to Brittany Mahomes about what happened.
“That’s a lot of history and friendship there, that doesn’t change overnight,” Kayla Nicole said. “But publicly, because things are happening so quickly and so publicly, I have to protect myself. That’s really all that is. The love is still there.”
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift, Kelce’s new girlfriend, will make it to Sunday’s Super Bowl. She’d been in Tokyo this week to perform four shows. But by Saturday afternoon, she’d made it back stateside, touching down in Los Angeles. Fans on social media took note that Swift’s flight was named “the Football Era.”
