Well, Kyle Busch just took Corey Heim to school on that last lap. He gets Kyle Busch Motorsports’ 100th win in the NASCAR Truck Series. This is also the 64th win for Busch himself in the Truck Series. Just an absolute masterclass as he tested Heim on the tunnel turn for five laps. Then, he made the move.

Corey Heim will be just fine after this. He is the points leader and is locked into the playoffs. Kyle Busch has been trying to get that elusive 100th win for his organization. Rowdy got the job done in Pocono in the No. 51 Chevy Silverado.

No offense to Heim, but Busch showed the difference between a young driver and one that has been there and done that, not just 64 times in the Truck Series, but about 160+ times across the NASCAR national series.

No big burnout or celebration. Just all business from Rowdy as he claims a win on Saturday.

This is Kyle Busch’s second win in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this season. His other win in 2023 came at Las Vegas.

After the race, Heim seemed to be in disbelief as he was unable to maintain his lead coming off the red flag restart. He was able to outlast Busch once this season, but this time around it was Rowdy’s turn to take the checkered flag. Seemingly, Heim held Busch off for three laps prior, but the veteran had another move up his sleeve as he got a run off Turn 1.

Kyle Busch is a driver to watch this weekend

Any time you see Rowdy get into a truck, expect him to drive for the win. Perhaps the greatest Truck Series driver ever, Kyle Busch has a deep love and passion for the series. After all, he wants to one day split a truck with his son Brexton before handing him the keys to his own full-time ride in NASCAR.

To get 100 wins for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the Truck Series is also nothing short of impressive. Say what you will, Busch gets talent in his seat and he produces results as a team owner. That organization has more wins in their future as they continue to compete.

This might just set up Busch for a complete weekend. He has the big race to take care of tomorrow on Sunday. He is one driver to keep an eye on. Besides his big dud of a weekend at New Hampshire, only Martin Truex Jr. and William Byron have been racing better in the last six weeks or so.

It never hurts to get a win ahead of the main event. Kyle Busch was humble and didn’t celebrate much after winning. He parked his truck at the finish line, waved to fans, and talked about how important it was to get that 100th win for KBM. He might be on his way to getting his fourth win for RCR tomorrow.
