Divisional matchups always bring emotions out of NFL players but usually, it’s between the opposing teams. During Monday Night Football, two Los Angeles Rams players were getting into it on the sidelines while struggling against the San Francisco 49ers.

Defensive end Takk McKinley and linebacker Justin Hollins were the two getting into an altercation, with the former having to be held back. It’s been tough for Los Angeles to stop Kyle Shanahan’s offense all night, especially wide receiver Deebo Samuel. It’s understandable why the players are frustrated.

After the two were broken up from one another, the ESPN broadcast showed a Rams coach cooling McKinley down. McKinley, who was recently promoted to the active roster, was seemingly giving his case and explaining why his emotions were high.

Two Los Angeles Rams players stop fan on the field

The San Francisco 49ers led the Los Angeles Rams 14-6 heading into halftime during Monday night’s primetime matchup. The Rams’ defense has done a solid job of keeping the 49ers’ offense limited, except for an impressive catch and run by Deebo Samuel. On that play, the Los Angeles defense failed to take the San Francisco star down.

However, two of Los Angeles’s star defenders made up for it with an impressive tackle when the defense wasn’t even on the field. Linebackers Bobby Wagner and Takk McKinley teamed up to take down a streaker who had made his way onto the field.

The takedown drew cheers from the opposing 49ers fans and brothers Eli and Peyton Manning on their Monday night manning cast. In the video below, you can see the two defenders team up for the tackle obliterating the streaker, and the Manning brothers celebrate their accomplishment.
