The Miami Dolphins will have running back De’Von Achane and wide receiver Tyreek Hill available on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, head coach Mike McDaniel shared on Friday. Achane has been dealing with a toe injury while Hill is nursing an ankle injury that caused him to sit out of the Week 15 matchup against the New York Jets.

In the 30-0 victory against the Jets, Achane was active in the running game and passing game. He tallied nine carries for 32 yards and caught another three passes for 30 yards. The rookie third-rounder missed time this season while on Injured Reserve with a knee injury. Now, he has 72 carries for 613 yards and seven touchdowns this year. He also has 21 catches for 155 yards and two more touchdowns.

Despite missing two games this season, Tyreek Hill remains the NFL’s leader in receiving yards through Week 15. He has 1,542 yards on 97 receptions with 12 touchdowns.

The Cowboys have been preparing to face both Hill and Achane all week, hoping to put up a better defensive performance than they did last week against the Bills. The defense gave up 351 total yards, including 266 rushing yards, in the 31-10 loss.

Micah Parsons preparing to deal with Hill

When asked about the “cheetah” on Thursday, Cowboys star edge rusher Micah Parsons insisted he still has the edge on the Dolphins receiver. The former Penn State star beat Hill the league’s fastest man challenge at the Pro Bowl two years ago. Despite the friendly competition between the two standouts, the Dolphins receiver still hooked Parsons up with complimentary tickets for his family this weekend

“Tyreek knows I am faster than him,” Parsons said. “It’s not fun at all when you’re getting ready to go against someone like Tyreek Hill because I know I got to run faster than I ever have all year. I might hit a miles per hour mach speed chasing someone like him.”

“It’s fascinating to watch it, but when you’re actually playing in it, it’s like, ‘Ahh damn, I gotta deal with this shit now, damn.’ But it’s cool,” Parsons added. “Tyreek hooked me up with some tickets for my fam coming down for the Christmas game. That’s a blessing. I’m just excited to play.”

Even though he came out on top in the race versus Hill two years ago, Parsons doesn’t anticipate doing the same this year. However, that’s because he doesn’t plan to be at the Pro Bowl at all.

“I don’t plan on being in the Pro Bowl,” Parsons said. “Maybe Tyreek. I plan on spending my time here getting ready for something a little bit bigger.”

The Cowboys and Dolphins kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET on Christmas Eve in Miami.
