Four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Xavien Howard has a lawsuit pending against him in which the Miami Dolphins star is accused of making, and then sharing, “secret sex videos,” according to sports reporter Andy Slater.

Slater shared the news on Friday morning, but added few details. He also shared that a woman “got into (Howard’s) community this year and smashed his Bentley with a baseball bat.”

The incident reportedly resulted in the woman’s arrest. The reporter also shared footage of the incident with the Bentley on X.

Howard’s attorney, Brad Sohn, shared a statement regarding the accusations.

“This lawsuit is a dead loser,” Sohn said. “Period, full stop. We will be seeking dismissal on legal several deficiencies on Monday but in terms of the substance of the case there is just no merit to it.”

In November of last year, a woman alleged that Howard “knowingly gave her genital herpes,” before dropping her negligence lawsuit against him in March. The cornerback defended himself, calling the woman a “scorned ex-lover.

Howard went No. 38 overall by the Miami Dolphins in 2016 out of Baylor and made the 2020 All-Pro team. He’s earned Pro Bowl nods four times, including in 2022. In 15 games played last season, he posted 45 tackles and one interception. He’s up to 286 career tackles with 28 interceptions, 10 of which he recorded during the 2020 regular season.

De’Von Achane stepping up for Dolphins

The Dolphins sifted through the free agent market, looking for a good running back. But they may have found him in the draft in De’Von Achane.

Achane, the fleet former Texas A&M star, is working his way into the Dolphins running back rotation.

The Dolphins are in Houston this week. They’re conducting joint practices with the Texans to prep for Saturday’s preseason game at NRG Stadium. Reporters asked Mike McDaniel about his running back situation and his thoughts on Dalvin Cook. A few weeks ago, NFL insiders were convinced the Dolphins would add Cook, the former Viking and native Floridian. Instead, the Miami interest seemed to cool over meeting Cook’s contract demands of $8 million-plus. He signed earlier this week with the revamped Jets.

“I’m very happy with our running back group,” McDaniel said. “There’s been a ton of development since camp started for already talented guys that I very much believe in. So overall, I’m really pumped with the running back group. As far as other team’s transactions, really, I haven’t even paid that much attention other than to what is today? Today is practice. The 16th of August. And I’m very happy with the crew that we’re going to compete with and pumped to compete against this unit too.”
