The NFL Combine is taking place this weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana and plenty of fans are getting a glimpse of who they might want to fill out their rosters in the next few months. One player who has turned heads is Florida State wide receiver Keon Coleman. NFL Network’s Michael Irvin is enamored with former Seminole star and he made the case for the Dallas Cowboys to go get him in the draft.

Ironically enough, Coleman is the cousin of Cowboys superstar wideout CeeDee Lamb.

The past two years for Florida State, Keon Coleman hauled in over 600 receiving yards, putting together some of the most spectacular highlight catches in college football. In 2023, he had 50 catches for 658 yards and 11 touchdowns. His stats were a touch better in 2022, hauling in 58 catches for 798 yards and seven touchdowns.

One of the biggest catches of his career came when he hauled in a game-winner in overtime against the Clemson Tigers, lifting the Seminoles to a 30-24 victory. He also made a spectacular one-handed grab against the Syracuse Orange in 2023.

According to Next Gen Stats, Coleman reached the fastest speed of the group 8 wideouts during the gauntlet drill (20.36 mph), despite having the slowest forty time (4.61 seconds). He certainly impressed in the gauntlet drill, showcasing his soft set of hands. Coleman caught every ball thrown his way and also maintained his speed while catching the passes.

He posted a 38-inch vertical leap and 10 feet, 7-inches in the broad jump. The broad jump put him in the 84th percentile and the vertical leap put him in the 80th percentile.
