Chase Elliott has some new digs for his No. 9 NAPA Chevrolet ahead of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.

While 2023 wasn’t very kind to the Hendrick Motorsports star, Elliott will be out to reclaim his spot as one of NASCAR’s top talents next season. It’s a new chapter in his career, and one that he’ll be utilizing a new paint scheme for.

Check it out below. Elliott is trading in his primarily white NAPA scheme for a more familiar blue-based look, one that we’re excited to see on the track.

That’s a pretty sweet scheme that NAPA and Elliott cooked up. It looks more like the look he ran when he raced in the Xfinity Series and when he first ventured into the Cup Series, back when he piloted the No. 24 Chevrolet.

While his last scheme won a championship, it was high-time for a change to the No. 9. Fans have been clamoring for it, and it’s seemingly gone over very well, looking at the early response to the news.

Will it be enough to bring Chase Elliott back to the forefront of the sport? Not alone, but it could become a big part of his story in 2024, and many will have their eyes on how he performs.

Chase Elliott gives update on recovery from shoulder surgery

Chase Elliott provided an update regarding his recovery from shoulder surgery ahead of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series campaign.

Elliott is hoping for a bounce-back season. 2023 was a nightmare for the Hendrick Motorsports wheelman, and he has a renewed focus going into a new season. One of the steps he’s taken is to repair a nagging shoulder injury.

Earlier in November, Elliott announced he was having surgery in a video shared with fans, where he explained it shouldn’t have any effect on 2024.

“Hey guys, what’s up?” Elliott says in his video. “I hope you’re enjoying the fall and the holidays approaching really quickly I just wanted to give you a quick update. I had a little procedure on my shoulder, had an old injury that I needed to get tended to and obviously the offseason is the much better time to do that than my last surgery.

“So, here we are and everything is all good ready to go for 2024, certainly looking forward to the Daytona 500 coming up in February.”

On Thursday, Elliott provided another update on his recovery, where he walked the same line while speaking on the subject.

“Thus far everything has gone really well,” Elliott revealed, via FOX’s Bob Pockrass. “The way I see things today, I don’t think there is anything that would make me think that next year would be compromised at the beginning of the season, including the Clash.”

So far, so good for Elliott’s recovery. He sounds like he’s ready to put 2023 behind him, and move forward to better days.
