Throughout two weeks, the NASCAR Cup Series is off to a roaring start, and the show continues this weekend in Las Vegas.

Last Sunday, Daniel Suárez defeated Ryan Blaney and Kyle Busch by a mere 0.003 seconds in one of the most stunning finishes in NASCAR history. The Trackhouse Racing star secured his spot in the playoffs, and he’ll be looking to go back-to-back this weekend in Sin City.

After all the fun had during the Ambetter Health 400, the Cup Series will now refocus away from super-speedway races for a bit. Before the race in Las Vegas, FanDuel Sportsbook has updated their odds for the Penzoil 400 on Sunday.

Kyle Larson (+400)

For Kyle Larson, Las Vegas will represent the first non-super-speedway race of the season, which is music to his ears. Larson actually secured his spot in the Championship 4 with a victory in Sin City last fall.

We’ll see if the Hendrick wheelman can get the job done in his return to the track, after some solid showing at Daytona and Atlanta over the last two weekends.

William Byron (+850)

William Byron leads the pack in NASCAR’s championship odds at the moment, but he’s No. 2 as it pertains to Las Vegas. The winner of the Daytona 500 was victorious in the Sin City spring race last season, so he’ll be looking to get his second win of the season at a track he knows well.

After making it to the Championship 4 last season, Byron is looking to take the next step in his career. Another win on the season would make sure he’s mentioned among the best of the best throughout 2024.

Denny Hamlin (+850)

Denny Hamlin is usually a super-speedway savant, but he was caught up in a couple of accidents over the last two weeks. Now, he’ll be looking for a better result as the first speedway race of the season takes place at Las Vegas.

A victory would put Hamlin in prime position for an opportunity at his long-awaited first championship, the one accolade that’s eluded him throughout his career. Better luck is certainly on the way for Hamlin as the season continues.

Ryan Blaney (+900)

Ryan Blaney has ascended to the top of the Cup Series, as the defending champion of the sport. He came close to capturing his first win of 2024 in Atlanta, just getting edged out by the aforementioned Suárez.

Regardless, Blaney has proven he’s among the series’ strongest talent, and he’s far from a fluke. With Las Vegas and a return to Phoenix in the next two weeks, the Team Penske wheelman will be hoping to get to Victory Lane.

Christopher Bell (+900)

After making the Championship 4 over the last two seasons, you would expect Christopher Bell’s name to be mentioned among the top drivers in the sport. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the Joe Gibbs Racing wheelman’s reality.

Still, he’s looked strong in 2024, as he tries to break on through and win his first Cup Series title this season. He got caught up in a wreck at Atlanta, but Bell almost bested Larson at Las Vegas last fall, so expect him to be among the top choices for a win this weekend.

Tyler Reddick (+1000)

Tyler Reddick made it all the way to the Round of 8 last season, showing off his immense skill behind the wheel. He’s been tremendous since moving to 23XI Racing, and he’s hoping to get to the next level in 2024, but he’s not off to the best start.

Through two races, he’s been out-performed by his teammate in Bubba Wallace, who’s the current points leader after back-to-back top five finishes. With tracks that are more Reddick’s style coming up, he’s bound to perform better over the next month and change.

Martin Truex Jr (+1000)

Martin Truex Jr. has had a relatively quiet start to 2024, but he remains among the top contenders in the sport. Anytime Truex gets behind the wheel, he has potential to dominate a race, and some great tracks for the veteran wheelman are coming up, like Las Vegas.

Last season, Truex was the regular season champion, but couldn’t finish the job in the playoffs. He’ll take a quiet regular season and a championship-winning playoff performance this season, if that’s what it takes instead.

Kyle Busch (+1200)

While the Daytona 500 eluded Kyle Busch once again, the two-time champion was in the mix at Atlanta, falling just short of clinching a playoff spot in Georgia, instead coming home P3 in one of the more iconic finishes in the sport’s history.

Thus far in 2024, Busch has looked strong, after finishing 2023 on a whimper. He’s hoping to best his total of three wins from 2023, and looking for more consistency throughout the season, as he returns home to Las Vegas this weekend.

Chase Elliott (+1400)

Since capturing his first Cup Series title, it feels like nothing has gone right for Chase Elliott. He was outshined by Kyle Larson during his first season with Hendrick following his title, and then suffered a myriad of setbacks in 2023.

However, Elliott’s freshly motivated in 2024, and remains one of the most talented, and popular, drivers in the sport. His return home to Georgia netted a P15 finish, and he’ll be hoping for his first win in what feels like forever over the next couple of weeks.

Joey Logano (+1400)

The two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion has had some rough luck in 2024. Joey Logano had a strong Ford at both Daytona and Atlanta, but got caught up in wrecks at both tracks.

Looking to get his season back on track, a win would go a long way towards raising the veteran’s confidence, especially after he was docked some cash for a violation stemming from the gloves he wore during qualifying last weekend.

NASCAR Penzoil 400 odds continued:
