Oregon safety Jamal Hill officially declared for the 2024 NFL Draft on Sunday evening. He announced the move on his Twitter page.

“First I would like to thank God for all the blessings he has rained upon me. I would like to thank my family, friends, & all of my coaches that have coached me over the years. Without y’all, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I would like to thank the University of Oregon for having faith in me, & giving me the opportunity to play the game I love while also meeting some amazing people along the way. A special thanks to all my teammates; I appreciate y’all & it was an honor to step with y’all boys fr. With that being said, I am declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.”

This season, Hill racked up 31 tackles, two sacks, and two forced fumbles. In 2022, he tallied the most tackles of his career (50), to go along with one forced fumble. In 2021, Hill had 20 tackles.

In the 2019 cycle, he was rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 561 overall player in the country, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. When he chose the Ducks coming out of high school, he chose them over Alabama, Michigan, Tennessee, and others.
