The NFL thing seems to be working out for Patrick Mahomes, but if the star quarterback ever wants to test out the MLB, he might get a shot. He showed off some skills during a Kansas City Royals celebrity softball game.

Mahomes participated in a celebrity softball game hosted by the Royals recently. The Kansas City Chiefs superstar and league MVP showed off his multi-sport talent, launching a missile for a home run during the event.

The two-time Super Bowl champion didn’t even have to really hustle around the bases for his inside-the-park homer, either. Mahomes really must’ve put some sauce on that softball.

That wasn’t the only highlight from Mahomes during the celebrity softball game.

Nobody needs to see the quarterback show off his arm during a baseball game … but he did it anyway. The two-time league MVP made an impressive behind-the-back throw to record an out during the event.

Even when he’s not in helmet and shoulder pads he dazzles the crowd.

Is there anything Mahomes can’t do?

Mahomes and other celebrities participated in the Big Slick Celebrity Softball game to assist in the annual fundraiser. Per MLB.com, a portion of the proceeds were donated to Big Slick to “help their mission.”

Who wins a home run derby: Mahomes or Allen?

We’ve seen both Mahomes and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen battle it out on the football field, so wouldn’t it be fun to see them participate in a home run derby? We’d like to know which of the two Pro Bowl gunslingers could hit the most dingers.

We saw Mahomes’ ability in the celebrity softball game earlier this week. Earlier in the year, Allen proved that he’s got the ability to go yard quite a bit during a celebrity event in Buffalo.

Allen and other local celebrities participated in the third annual Micah Hyde Charity Softball Game in early May. The star quarterback showed off a pretty smooth swing while in the batter’s box, too.

The Bills QB launched home run after home run during the event.

Allen was hitting dingers so far that the cars on the highway found themselves in trouble. That’s not an easy thing to do, especially for a non-baseball player.

So, what do you say, NFL? Can we set up some sort of home run derby between these two AFC quarterbacks to see which one has the better swing? Perhaps at next year’s Pro Bowl?
