The Pro Bowl Games are taking place on Sunday evening in Orlando, Florida and that means only one thing, America will get yet another dose of Peyton and Eli Manning on the sidelines for both teams. Peyton Manning and Eli Manning are both the respective coaches for the AFC and NFC teams in the flag football game. The NFC was leading the game 48-47 at halftime and Peyton Manning let Ryan Clark know that he wasn’t happy about Eli schmoozing with the officials.

“Obviously, we see it that way. Where’s Ray Lewis at? He is not happy about it. We’ve gotta win the game on the field, in spite of the officials in the second half,” Peyton Manning joked on the sidelines.

The NFC ended up defeating the AFC in the flag football game in a close battle. On the final play of the game, Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud threw a pass to Keenan Allen in the end zone, and the ball just missed his outstretched hands.

The NFC won the 2024 Pro Bowl Games by a total score of 64-59. Following the win, Eli Manning spoke with ESPN’s Laura Rutledge on the stage.

Eli Manning was thankful in his postgame comments

“This is the leadership of the guys on this team. Double D right here (Demario Davis). He played every snap almost. He’s in a full sweat. So, we have great leadership like that. These guys were playing hard. It was important to them. They came out. They took practice serious. They took the skills challenge very seriously. Dominated in that. And that gave us a great opportunity to win. Baker came in the clutch in the fourth quarter,” Manning said.

Eli Manning was also quick to deflect the credit to all the players. “I wish I could take some credit but I can’t lie, that was all them. We had some big, strong boys. You weren’t [touching] a full Dexter Lawrence on the tug of war. It just wasn’t happening. It was just physically not possible. So, these guys, it was important to them. They competed. They were going all out. And it was fun to see,” Manning said.

Tampa Bay QB Baker Mayfield was named the offensive MVP of the game, after he helped guide the NFC to a 64-59 victory over the AFC. In the win, he threw two touchdowns, one of which went to former Oklahoma teammate, CeeDee Lamb. Mayfield and Lamb teamed up together for one season at Oklahoma, during Mayfield’s Heisman Trophy-winning 2017 campaign.
