Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris made his frustrations clear on Sunday following his team’s fourth loss of the season in which the offense put up just 10 points. Although the Steelers are still above .500 with a 6-4 record, Harris doesn’t see them getting very far with offensive performances like they had against Cleveland.

“I look at it like how long is this sh** gonna last,” Harris said to reporters in the post-game locker room. “It’s a good record but this is the NFL. Winning like how we did is not going to get us nowhere.”

Harris also alluded to trouble behind the scenes in the Pittsburgh facilities, but he didn’t get into specifics or call anyone out.

“There’s just a lot of stuff that just goes around that you guys don’t see,” Harris said. “I guess I’m trying to say it’s just, I’m just at a point, man, where I’m just tired of this s**t.”

At the beginning of the month, Harris responded to some of his teammates’ complaints about the season with pointed criticism.

“We can’t just keep pointing fingers,” Harris said. “We’ve got to point at ourselves. It’s the man in the mirror, really. This is the NFL. Everybody runs the same damn plays. Everyone disguises them differently. It’s how we play it. Honestly, I don’t think we’re playing with that edge right now.”

Steelers offense sputters vs Browns

Both teams struggled to get offense going throughout the afternoon but the Browns found a way on their final drive to clinch the game with a field goal. The Steelers accumulated 249 total yards and 12 first downs, while Cleveland was slightly better, amassing 259 total yards and 20 first downs.

Former first-round quarterback Kenny Pickett had a mediocre outing on Sunday. The Steelers signal caller completed 15 of 28 passes for 106 yards, throwing neither a touchdown or interception in the contest.

The lone source of offense for the Steelers was running back Jaylen Warren. While he had just nine carries, Warren ripped off a 74-yard touchdown for Pittsburgh’s lone touchdown of the afternoon, and it total Warren amassed 129 rushing yards. Harris had 12 carries, gaining 35 yards.

After the game, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin credited the Browns defense for slowing down the offense. However, Pittsburgh’s offense hasn’t scored more than 26 points in a game this season, regardless of the opponent.

“They have a really good defense,” Tomlin said. “Coupled with their venue, we have to give them some credit. We knew their reputation in Week 2. Maybe the rest of the National Football League didn’t. It’s kind of been confirmed in the weeks after that and obviously they were really good today.”
