Safety Terrell Edmunds is back on the practice field with no limitations after dealing with a concussion the past several weeks, and standout wide receiver Diontae Johnson was limited Wednesday as he continues to nurse his injured hip.

The other nine players – several of which are starters for Pittsburgh, including multiple defenders – did not practice at all Wednesday, though the Steelers continue to evaluate them daily as none have been officially ruled out of Saturday’s matchup as of Wednesday afternoon.

Cameron Heyward responds after retweeting critical statement on Mike Tomlin, Steelers

Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward raised eyebrows Monday when he retweeted a statement criticizing head coach Mike Tomlin. However, Heyward took to Twitter later in the day to explain himself, saying the retweet was not intentional.

“Ok let me be clear when I say that was a complete accident,” Heyward’s tweet read. “I challenge myself to be better and don’t look to point the finger. These losses I take personal and I need to be better. My head coach and teammates are the ones I care about. I’m on to Tampa see ya Sunday.”
