A national championship game of likely the two best teams in college basketball this season has been set. The UConn Huskies and Purdue Boilermakers, both one-seeds out of their respective regions, are set to face off on Monday night.

The matchup you want to circle will happen down low, with Donovan Clingan facing Zach Edey. Two seven-footers will be battling it out after having dominating performances in the Final Four. Only one can emerge as a national champion and their personal battle may wind up being the difference.

Either way, history will be made. UConn would be the sport’s first back-to-back national champion since the Florida Gators in the mid-2000s. Or, Purdue can win it all for the first time in program history and finally break through in the Matt Painter era, something the Boilermakers have been wanting for a long time.

Odds for Purdue vs. UConn

According to Draft Kings, UConn has opened as a 5.5-point favorite over Purdue. A decent advantage for the Huskies after winning every single NCAA Tournament game they have played this season by double-digits. The Boilermakers are set to be a different type of beast, though.

To get UConn on the money line, your odds are set at -258, while Purdue is +210. If you’re looking for the game’s total, it’s currently set at 146.5. Two of the best teams in college basketball dueling with one another has oddsmakers believing a high-scoring game is coming in the desert.
