For the first time ever in his young career, Rajah Caruth will lead the field to green to begin the Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200. The NASCAR Truck Series sophomore will look to earn his first career win tonight in Las Vegas.

Christian Eckes is going to start on the front row with Rajah Caruth. Both drivers are incredibly talented, Eckes won his fair share of races in 2023.

There is a ton of young talent in the Truck Series. Perhaps we are going to get a show of that tonight. Don’t forget, Truck Series GOAT, Kyle Busch, will start P4 tonight.

Rajah Caruth and Christian Eckes are your front row. Stewart Friesen and Kyle Busch follow with Tyler Ankrum, Ty Majeski, Zane Smith, Nick Sanchez, Daniel Dye, and Grant Enfinger finishing out the top-10.

Last year in this race, Busch was the winner. Caruth, this year’s pole-sitter finished in a distant P29. So far, Caruth has finishes of P3 and P8 to start the year. He will try to add another top-10, or better yet, a victory tonight.

With the drafting races behind us, we are getting into the nitty-gritty of the NASCAR season.

UPDATE: Christian Eckes had to make adjustments, but they were approved and he did not lose his starting spot.

Rajah Caruth off to a hot start with Spire Motorsports

Two great finishes to start the season, Rajah Caruth is off to a hot start. He joined Spire Motorsports this season with support from HendrickCars.com. What started out as a 10-race sponsorship has now expanded to all 23 races.

After winning the pole award, Caruth was more than happy to earn his first career pole.

“It’s pretty special, I think pretty uncertain winter with everything,” Caruth said, alluding to his somewhat late deal with Spire. “To be here and get my first pole here at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is super special. Have to think HendrickCars.com, Mr. H, and all the men and women at Spire Motorsports. They’ve been working very hard this winter and all of our Chevys both on the Truck and Cup side have been really good. So, hopefully, we can just have a complete race tonight and be there at the end.”

If you haven’t noticed, the Hendrick connection is a little deeper than just a sponsorship. With the ties that Spire and Hendrick have, this sponsorship, and a few other signs – it is fair to say Caruth is more or less a development driver for the organization. Whether that is official or unofficial remains to be seen.

Right now, Rajah Caruth is on a trajectory that could go as high up as the Cup Series or fall somewhere in between. It is up to him to do the work and reach his full potential.
