Los Angeles Rams passing game coordinator Zac Robinson will interview with the Baltimore Ravens for their offensive coordinator opening, NFL insider Albert Breer reported. Robinson also interviewed for the Chargers OC position on Monday.

A former quarterback at Oklahoma State and in the NFL, Robinson has spent the past four seasons with the Rams. He began as an assistant quarterbacks coach in 2019 and went on to work with receivers as well before becoming passing game coordinator this past season.

The Rams won a Super Bowl in Robinson’s third year with the team, finishing third in the NFL with 8.1 yards per pass attempt. Robinson worked with both Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp that season, the latter of which led the NFL in all receiving categories with 145 catches for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns.

The Rams took a significant step back in 2022 as they struggled with injuries, finishing 5-12 and missing the playoffs. Despite this, Robinson has developed a reputation as a rising star at only 36 and is reportedly drawing interest from a third team in addition to the Chargers and Ravens.

Zac Robinson played at Oklahoma State from 2006-09, finishing his Cowboys career with 8,317 yards passing, 66 touchdowns and 31 interceptions. He added 1,858 yards rushing and 22 more scores on the ground. From there, he was selected in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots.

However, Robinson never played a game for the Patriots as he was released before the start of that season. He went on to sign with the Seattle Seahawks on their practice squad, and also played for the Lions and Bengals before retiring in 2014.

A native of Littleton, Colorado, now Robinson has begun to find success in his coaching career. His track record with the Rams speaks for itself, and it seems only a matter of time before he takes the next step.
