Touchdown celebrations are one of the best parts of football. Fans can’t get enough of them. And on Sunday afternoon in the AFC Championship Game between the Ravens and the Chiefs, Baltimore’s players decided to take things to another level with their team end zone dance. After Lamar Jackson connected with Zay Flowers on a beautifully lofted touchdown pass in the first half, the Ravens players got together for a team celebration. They trolled Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes with the “swag surfing” celebration that has become popular in recent years.

Swag Surfin’

Swag Surfin’” is a single by American hip hop group Fast Life Yungstaz. It is featured on their debut album Jamboree and was produced by K.E. on the Track. “Swag Surfin'” also became synonymous with Chicago Bears post-game locker room celebrations, nicknamed “Club Dub” after former head coach Matt Nagy in 2018 and 2019.

Nearly 15 years after the song’s debut in 2024, Taylor Swift was caught by cameras dancing to the song with Donna Kelce, Brittany Mahomes, and other Kansas City Chiefs fans during the franchise’s AFC Wild Card Playoff Game at Arrowhead Stadium.

The song ranked in the Hot 100 of the U.S. Billboard charts and is one of the more popular songs in American history.

While the Ravens got the nice touchdown celebration, the Chiefs had the last laugh, bringing home a 17-10 win on Sunday. Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce delivered the goods when his team needed him the most, hauling in 11 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 30 of 39 passes for 241 yards, while tossing in one touchdown pass. He also tacked on 15 rushing yards.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson had one of his most disappointing performances of the season at the worst time. He had over 320 all-purpose yards but had a costly fumble and a back breaking interception in the end zone. Ravens rookie receiver Zay Flowers had a great game, hauling in five catches for 115 yards and a touchdown. He hauled in over 800 receiving yards his rookie season and he should be a name to watch for years to come with the Baltimore offensive attack.

The Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl will be played on Sunday, February 11th. Kickoff for that one is set for 6:30 PM EST and the game will be played in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
