Odell Beckham Jr. was reportedly in the New York Giants practice facility Monday. The news comes the same day that the team worked out another former Giant, safety Landon Collins.

This contradicts Jeff Howe’s initial report, which said that Beckham was hanging out with some Giants players, but was not meeting with the team.

“Nothing happening at the moment between Beckham and the Giants. Beckham isn’t expected to be cleared to play until at least November,” the tweet read. Beckham Jr. hasn’t played a down in the NFL since he was injured in the first half against of Super Bowl LVI, where he won the first NFL championship of his career with the Los Angeles Rams.

The former LSU standout previously spent the first seasons years of his NFL career with the Giants, where he made one of the most spectacular catches in NFL history before being traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2019.

Steelers expected to go with Kenny Pickett as their starter

Saturday’s loss to the New York Jets brought the Pittsburgh Steelers to a crossroads. With all the conversation around Mitchell Trubisky and Kenny Pickett, it came time for Mike Tomlin to either double down or change directions. Now, it appears Tomlin has changed his mind and is preparing to go with the rookie.

The report comes from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network who says the franchise is planning to go with Pickett after he made his debut this weekend.

Pickett took the field for the first time against the Jets after another slow start from Trubisky. He completed 10/13 passes for 120 yards. However, his three incompletions were all interceptions including the first throw of his day and his last. It was a mixed bag, but it seems it was still enough for Tomlin to justify the decision.

More should be known throughout the week to determine if this is the official call from Tomlin and the Steelers. It has been the wish of the fanbase, though, which means a ton of attention will be on the franchise ahead of what could be Pickett’s first start this weekend in Buffalo against the Bills.
