Amid reports of a budding relationship between Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop icon Taylor Swift, the singer is reportedly watching the Chiefs game against the Bears on Sunday from Kelce’s suite at Arrowhead Stadium, according to Jordan Schultz.

Cameras inside Arrowhead Stadium rapidly confirmed the reports, showing footage of Swift cheering from a suite. Not only is the 12-time Grammy Award winner in Kelce’s suite, he’s also seated next to Donna Kelce – Travis’s mother. It’s a huge moment for Chiefs and Swifty fans alike.

Swift’s appearance at the game isn’t out of left field. Kelce went on the Pat McAfee Show on Thursday and hinted that the music star would pop up for a Chiefs game at some point after his brother, Jason Kelce, jokingly confirmed that the two are hanging out.

“Nah, I mean it’s like, I threw it out there. I threw the ball in her court. I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stadium in Arrowhead. You might have to come see me rock the stadium in Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit.’ So we’ll see what happens in the near future,” Kelce said, referencing his attempt to give Swift his phone number after a concert at Arrowhead Stadium over the summer.

Jason Kelce spills beans on Travis-Taylor rumors

Jason Kelce fanned the flames of the rumors during a number of interviews last week. Travis went on to poke fun at his brother for his attention-seeking behavior.

“He’s had a whole lot of fun since then and he’s still having fun and then not even a week later tell everybody that it’s 100% true. I mean, the guy is absolutely ridiculous,” Kelce said, grinning. “He can’t stay out of the freaking headlines. He was on the show yesterday saying — not that he wants to be but the fact that everyone thinks he’s Ian Rapoport of my dating relationship. Please everyone stop asking my brother about my dating life.”

In Kansas City’s victory over Jacksonville last week, commentators were quick to incorporate Swift-inspired puns into their calls.

Patrick Mahomes’ favorite target didn’t take long to get on the board in his season debut. Thanks to another terrific play design from mastermind Andy Reid, Kelce eluded defensive backs like a getaway car to find a sliver of open grass, where the reigning MVP hit him for the score.

As he made the TD grab to put KC up 13-6, broadcaster Ian Eagle remarked on Kelce’s other kind of score recently, noting that the tight end found a “Blank Space” for the catch. If the duo continues their dalliance, NFL fans are in for many more references.
