Stefon Diggs apologized to Bills fans this week. Check that, maybe he was being contrite for those who like to gamble on games or manage a fantasy team.

Just know that the Bills receiver was thinking about all of the above groups.

“I ain’t going to lie,” Stefon Diggs wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “I do be feeling a lil bad when I f*** up yaw parlay. … or fantasy.”

He followed that post with another along the same lines. “But trust me it ain’t cause I ain’t trying make dat mf hit for ya.” Stefon Diggs also encouraged everyone to “turn the page” as he’s getting “back to work.”

If you’re a fantasy football player, you probably know that Diggs is a valuable commodity to have on your team. But he did slip a bit in the Bills’ unexpected road loss to the Patriots. Diggs caught six passes for 58 yards and a touchdown. However, he left a lot of good stats on the field.

DraftSharks, which ranks the Bills star as the fourth-best receiver for fantasy play, offered this take:

“Bills WR Stefon Diggs hauled just 6 of 12 targets for 58 receiving yards and a TD in Week 7’s surprising loss vs. the Patriots. A star player like Diggs catching only half of his passes isn’t super ideal, but fantasy managers can’t be too upset considering he found paydirt in the contest.”

NFL analyst Robert Griffin III shared Diggs’ touchdown against the Patriots to all this followers. It’s definitely worth another look as the Bills receiver slides to make the catch, gets up because he’s untouched, then maintains his balance on the way to the end zone. RG3 captioned the video “Stefon Diggs is DIFFERENT. WHAT A PLAY.”

The Bills play tonight against the Tampa Bay Bucs. The trends suggest that the game will turn in their favor. After all, quarterback Josh Allen must love playing on Thursday Night Football. He’s a sizzling 5-0, while averaging 252 passing yards, 2.4 touchdowns and an interception per game. And we know that Stefon Diggs will figure in if Allen is having a hot night.

But the Bills also have to fix some early-game issues. They’re dreadfully slow out of the gate. They’ve scored 10 points, combined, in the first halves of their last three games. It’s not a coincidence that with the tepid starts, they’ve lost two out of three. The only win in that time was a 14-9 nailbiter against the Giants who were starting backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor.
