The House is taking over the Daytona 500! Pitbull, Mr. Worldwide and co-owner of Trackhouse Racing, will be NASCAR‘s prerace performer. The Great American Race is going Worldwide as the Cuban-American pop star takes the stage.

The thing about Pitbull and his music, it’s fun. People love to have a good time, and the Daytona 500 is the best place to have a good time. Pitbull and Daytona are a match made in heaven.

As a co-owner of a Cup Series organization, it makes it even better. Mr. Worldwide is an artist that just about anyone can enjoy and he’s going to have the crowd rocking before the 500.

Pitbull is trying to make his NASCAR team as successful as his musical career. The pop star has built a reputation as an energetic and upbeat force of charisma. He named his last album after Trackhouse Racing, which I’m sure will have a song or two in the act.

The Grammy Award winner will have this Daytona 500 crowd ready to go for The Great American Race.

“There’s no better way to get the energy flowing than with Pitbull performing our pre-race concert for the Daytona 500,” said Daytona International Speedway President Frank Kelleher in a statement. “Pitbull has continued to release major hits for over a decade and has shown tremendous longevity as an artist over the years. He’ll bring all the South Florida vibes and culture up here to put on quite the show for the 66th running of The Great American Race.”

Pitbull honored to perform before Daytona 500

Ahead of the Daytona 500, Pitbull has another edition of his TRACKHOUSE album. The record is going to get a deluxe version of sorts this February that NASCAR fans will want to keep an eye out for, TRACKHOUSE: Daytona 500 Edition.

With this pre-race concert, Pitbull hopes to get the crowd amped up and ultimately, just wants to have a good time.

“It’s an honor to once again be part of the Great American Race, this time performing at the Daytona 500,” said Trackhouse team co-owner Armando Christian Perez (Pitbull). “So Everyone start your engines, Get Ready and Dale!”

Just weeks until the Daytona 500. 23 days, to be exact. While the offseason goes by quickly, it is exciting to know that we are going racing again soon. The Great American Race will be here before you know it.

Are you excited for Pitbull to take the stage at Daytona?
