Travis Kelce paid tribute to his girlfriend while talking about Kenny Pickett and the Pittsburgh Steelers. On the New Heights podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end began singing “Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift when talking about Pickett, who was recently traded from the Steelers to the Philadelphia Eagles.

“Kenny and the Steelers, their relationship ended in a little bit of bad blood,” Kelce said, singing the last few words like Swift does in her hit song.

Kelce and Swift have been dating since last year, and the three-time Super Bowl champion recently was with Swift overseas for the international part of her Eras Tour. Swift attended multiple Chiefs games during the 2023 NFL season, including the Super Bowl in February when she saw Kelce and the Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers to win their third Super Bowl in five seasons.

“We got something special, man, and we got the formula, baby,” Kelce said on the podcast in February. “We know exactly what we need to do and how to do it. And I know next year’s team won’t be the same, as every year is different. You know whether the main guys or there or what I call glue guys, the guys that don’t get as much publicity or get … as many people talking about them, when you know new guys come in. And sure enough, man, we got the formula.”

Travis Kelce ready for another championship run

Kelce has no “Bad Blood” with the Chiefs since he has won three Super Bowl titles with the franchise. The 34-year-old has been in Kansas City since 2013 and is on his way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame once his career ends. But with his older brother, Jason Kelce, announcing his retirement earlier this month, will Travis do the same in the near future?

“I can’t imagine not doing this for as long as I can, because I know I’ll miss it when it’s all said and done, Kelce said in February. “I can’t put a time stamp on how long I’ll play, but I know I’m loving every single bit of coming to work right now.”

In Kelce’s career, he has caught 907 passes for 11,328 yards and 74 touchdowns. He holds NFL records for most consecutive seasons with 1,000-plus receving yards by a tight end (7), receiving yards in a season by a tight end (1,416) and career postseason receptions (165).
