Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis came out on the field to fire up the home crowd Baltimore Ravens, even getting Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes excited to see him. The former Ravens star performed his iconic entrance dance from his playing days, igniting everyone in attendance.

Ray Lewis gets Patrick Mahomes hyped

Coming onto the field before the Ravens played the Chiefs in the Sunday night game, Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis ignited the crowd with his signature dance he used to perform coming out of the tunnel.

As the Baltimore crowd reveled in Lewis’ appearance, even the opposing quarterback couldn’t help but get excited. The camera cut to Mahomes watching on the bench and screaming along with the crowd.

Lewis’ presence was sure to have an impact as the game started on a Baltimore crowd looking for their first win of the season, as well as Mahomes and the Chiefs as they continue their mission to reach the Super Bowl again.

Chris Oats meets Ray Lewis

The University of Kentucky’s Chris Oats got to meet his childhood hero, Ray Lewis, earlier in the month. Lewis’ son has joined the Wildcats as a wide receiver, giving Oats the chance to meet his football hero.

Oats starred for the Kentucky defense as a middle linebacker. That changed when he suffered a major stroke in the spring of 2020. Now rehabilitating, the Cincinnati native is working hard to regain his mobility.

On Sep. 11, Oats and his family made the trip to Kroger Field to watch the Wildcats take on Missouri. On the sideline before kickoff he met his favorite middle linebacker, Hall of Famer Ray Lewis.

Oats was overjoyed, to say the least. Lewis shared some words of encouragement to help Oats get back on his feet. The young Wildcat might have shed a tear or two.

Oats received the spotlight Saturday night. Introduced to a standing ovation at a near capacity Kroger Field crowd, Oats responded with a smile from ear to ear and waved his white pom-pom back to the crowd.
