Will Levis is known for some odd high jinks of his, specifically in reference to his food choices. He’s now at it again as he takes part in a tradition in Music City while attending a playoff game for the Nashville Predators.

Levis is taking in the Preds’ postseason matchup with the Vancouver Canucks on this Sunday afternoon. That included holding up a catfish, a well-known practice inside Bridgestone Arena, even though he took it a step further by giving it a kiss amidst his energy and excitement. This came after the catfish was literally snapped into Levis’ hands like a football from Lloyd Cushenberry, a center for the Titans.

Again, throwing catfish out onto the ice is an accepted custom in Nashville. That’s especially sp now that the playoffs have arrived in the NHL. Levis having one in hand isn’t out of the ordinary, even though the smooch isn’t usually the expectation.

Still, Levis, the quarterback of the Tennessee Titans, was just attempting to get the crowd pumped up ahead of the puck drop in Game 4. The Predators are currently in a 2-1 series deficit to the Canucks after a 2-1 loss in Game 3. Now, to this point in a crucial game on Sunday, the two are tied at 1-1 in the first period.

He wasn’t the only Titan to get in on the action, though. Taylor Lewan, a former offensive tackle for Tennessee and known media personality in retirement now, chugged down a beer on the big screen before his daughter started chugging herself.

Levis is certainly, if nothing else, himself in everything that he does. That includes his latest public appearance which led to a public display of affection with the mud cat.

Hellmann’s celebrates Leviswith bust sculpted from mayonnaise

Will Levis made a lot of people forget his food habits off the field with his play for the Tennessee Titans this season. However, with his rookie season complete, he and Hellmann’s are back to remind everyone about his connection to mayonnaise.

Levis and Hellmann’s shared a video on Instagram to recognize him after his first season as a pro. The clip included an artist sculpting a bust of Levis’ face completely out of mayo. It’s truly a sight to behold and as best as you could imagine that could be done with the condiment.

“We couldn’t be prouder of our favorite, mayo-loving quarterback @will_levis for all he’s accomplished this season,” wrote Hellmann’s on Instagram. “Behold, our tasty tribute!”
