VIDEO: Kentucky HC Mark Stoops - Texas Postgame

Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops addressed the media after the Wildcats’ 16-13 overtime loss to No. 21 Texas on Saturday night at Kroger Field.

The Longhorns stopped back-to-back Kentucky run plays on third and fourth down from the 1-yard line to begin overtime, then got a 45-yard field goal from Mason Shipley to win the game.

The Wildcats dropped to 2-4 overall and 0-4 in SEC play with their ninth consecutive home loss in league play dating back to the 2023 season.
