Auburn football spring camp begins: 15 things to think about

The most anticipated Auburn football spring camp in a decade is upon us as the Hugh Freeze era officially gets underway on Monday. The first two springs under Gus Malzahn in 2013 and 2014 were certainly intriguing, especially coming off a BCS title game appearance, but this spring camp feels different. Much of the anticipation is likely due to the total lack of legitimate optimism during Bryan Harsin's only two springs at Auburn. And much of the anticipation is due to Freeze's resume of winning combined with a host of transfers and true freshman hoping to make their mark right away. The Tigers will practice every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the most part leading into the April 8 spring game inside Jordan-Hare Stadium. Here's the schedule of practices: February 27, March 1, 3, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29, April 3, 5, 7 and 8. Auburn will take the week of March 5-11 off for spring break.
